| Job Summary |
Industrialization of the design of the robotic arm. Candidate that would fit well needs to have hands on experience designing moving mechanisms (Actuators, bearings, transmissions) We offer the benefit of gaining skills in turning a one of a kind cutting edge prototype into a mass production product. |

| Key Responsibilities |
・Lead a small team of mechanical engineers (1-2 people) ・Work with production partners to validate assembly processes. ・Work with internal teams ensuring “quality by design” and design for Manufacturability ・Document control and change management ・Specification of systems, sub-systems and components ・Systematic design review ・Stress Analysis ・BOM Simplification (Reduction of Parts and Assemblies used) ・Assembly Analysis ・Minimization of custom machined parts by utilizing commercially available components |
| Required Qualifications |
・5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, ideally within industrial robotics/manipulators, precision machinery, aerospace or related industries. ・Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., OnShape) and PLM (e.g., Arena). ・Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, tolerance stack analysis ・Experience with dimensioning machine elements (such as screws, pins, gears, rivets, etc.) according to industry standards and best practice. ・Experience with designing machine parts and sheet metal parts ・Knowledge about industrial standards |
| Preferred Skills |
・Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. ・Shop floor experience with production of complex machine parts. ・Shop floor experience with assembly integration and test (AIT) of complex machines. ・Hands on experience with change management ・Experience with dimensioning gear systems and choosing OTS gear elements |
