| Job Summary | The IT System and Network Engineer is responsible for the efficient operation, security, and support of Hibot's internal network and IT infrastructure. This role requires cross-departmental collaboration to deliver technical support, develop and enforce IT policies, and manage IT assets. The engineer will be instrumental in maintaining a robust and secure IT environment, supporting ISMS compliance, and coordinating with external vendors to ensure high-quality IT service delivery. Additionally, the role involves independent planning, implementing, and troubleshooting the management and operation of the company's IT systems. |
| Key Responsibilities |
- Internal Network Maintenance and Improvement Manage and enhance internal networks (wired/wireless) to ensure security and business continuity - IT Troubleshooting and Support Address and resolve IT-related issues for internal team members promptly and efficiently. - Policy Development Create, update, and enforce internal IT policies to support organizational standards and compliance. - Compliance Management Manage ISMS, including updating documentation and IT readiness for internal/external audits - IT Asset Management Maintain an accurate inventory and manage lifecycle activities for IT assets. - Local Software and Cloud-Based Software Management Administer, configure, and maintain both local software and cloud-based solutions critical to the company’s operations (e.g., Google Workspace). Ensure software meets operational, security, and compliance requirements. - IT Security Maintenance Implement and reinforce IT security measures to safeguard company data. - Cross-Department Collaboration Work closely with the administration department to meet operational needs and ensure streamlined processes. - Vendor Coordination Coordinate with external vendors to support effective relationships and service delivery. |
| Experience and Skills |
- IT Systems Engineering Background Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT engineering role focused on internal networks, local and cloud-based Windows and LINUX servers, and PC/Mac laptops/desktops. - Documentation and Audit Support Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation in Japanese and English, including internal manuals, procedures, and policy-aligned records. Experience managing internal and external IT and Security audits (e.g., ISMS/ISO 27001) through evidence preparation, responding to auditor inquiries, and tracking corrective actions. - Preferred Experience Familiarity with Google Workspace management |
